Mr. Covey founded GrayStreet Partners and its predecessor Caliburn Capital in 2009. His active investment experience spans a variety of investment classes, but has been primarily focused in outdoor advertising, debt investment, electronics manufacturing, alternative lending, and real estate. He is an active principal in Ithaca investments, LTD., which holds over 1.2 million square feet of retail shopping center space in Texas. He's also the manager of Grizzly Asset Management, the financial sponsor of the Grizzly Fund – focused in acquiring high yield and non performing debt instruments. He graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Partner
Mr. Covey has a BA in Economics from Cornell University. From the early seventies until 1980 he was a principal and managing partner in various real estate partnerships focusing upon apartment projects in the Washington D.C. area. In 1983 Mr. Covey founded Quimica Dinamica SA in Monterrey, Mexico, an integrated manufacturer of more than three hundred organic and inorganic chemicals used as raw materials in the electronic and pharmaceutical industries. He served as CEO until he sold the company in 1994. From 1986 to the present, through his company, Ithaca Investments, Ltd., Mr. Covey has owned more than one million square feet of retail space and hundreds of acres of urban land. Mr. Covey is also CEO of KEM Advertising which currently owns over 2000 billboards in 14 states.

CFO
Mr. Moxon has worked in accounting since 1983. He is a CPA and has served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Financial Reporting and Operations and Controller. Mr. Moxon’s experiences include 4 years in heavy highway construction, 16 years in physical and electronic security solutions and 5 years in quarry operations. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University in 1983.

Managing Director, Energy
Ms. Pommer currently acts as Managing Director for GrayStreet Energy, having joined the team in a transitional capacity in fall of 2023. She specializes in deal sourcing and evaluation. Prior to joining us at GrayStreet, she acted as CEO of EnergyFunders, where she grew the firms AUM by about $20 million. EnergyFunders recruited her following her role as CEO of a private equity backed oil and gas exploration company, Century Natural Resources, which drilled exploratory horizontals, along with developing and managing ~180 wellbores and over 200,000 acres in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. Before leading Century Natural Resources, Laura worked in business development, exploration and operations/development for Anadarko Petroleum’s U.S. onshore assets. She’s also worked for various private equity-backed companies as lead geologist, completing regional and asset level mapping, log interpretation, risk analysis and deal evaluation. Laura is a geologist by training—earning her masters in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin and her bachelor’s in Geology from The University of Colorado. Her combination of deep technical expertise, portfolio management, and experience as a leader and CEO, makes her the perfect candidate for providing investors with the highest quality oil and gas deals available.

Managing Director, Energy
Ms. Light joined the GrayStreet team in January of 2024 and performs the roles of reservoir engineering along with energy compliance and regulatory. She is also currently the CEO at EnergyFunders, which offers retail accredited investors access to oil and gas RegD funds. Ms. Light draws upon her vast experience in estimating and appraising reserves values for some of the largest overseas oil and gas companies in the world, including her former role as Project Engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton. Ms. Light was Project Coordinator for reserves audits representing hundreds of billions of dollars in asset value while at D&M, including the annual reserves audit for one of the world’s largest oil and gas producers. Before joining D&M, Ms. Light practiced law as an oil and gas title attorney at Hameline & Eccleston and The Duckworth Law Firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering as well as a Minor in Dance from Texas A&M University where she was a President’s Endowed Scholar. Ms. Light received her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law where she served on the Editorial Board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal. She is a licensed attorney admitted to the State Bar of Texas.

Senior Geological Advisor, Energy
Dr. Rey joined GrayStreet Partners in May of 2025 and contributes as a senior geologic advisor specializing in stratigraphy, basin analysis, and geomechanics. Before joining GrayStreet, Dr. Rey worked with Chevron on advanced earth modeling workflows for pore pressure prediction and fracturing height uncertainty. Earlier in his career, Dr. Rey spent nearly a decade at YPF S.A., where he led development efforts across fractured igneous reservoirs, deep tight gas fields, and mature waterflooded assets. His work included geological modeling, petrophysical analysis, geomechanics, and field operations. Dr. Rey holds a Ph.D. and Master of Science degree in Geological Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. He is the lead or co-author of multiple peer-reviewed publications on clastic sedimentology and tectonic basin evolution and has presented extensively at international geoscience conferences.
Mr. Reinsborough joined GrayStreet in July 2025 and works in deal origination, structuring, underwriting, and execution. Prior to joining GrayStreet, Kellen worked in ReconAfrica’s M&A group in Austin. Previously, he worked as a Finance Intern in Atlas Energy Solutions. His oil and gas experience includes work in the Permian Basin, Gulf of Mexico, Namibia, and Angola. Kellen holds a Master of Science in Energy & Earth Resources from The University of Texas at Austin.
